How to add a unit and conversion

Use this guide to create a unit and set its conversion in Raad ERP.

Go to: Masters > Unit & Conversion > Add Unit

Step 1: From the left sidebar, click Masters, Select Unit & Conversion.

Click Add Unit.

Step 2: Select Unit Group

Select the unit group that was already created.

Example: Quantity.

Step 3: Unit Name

Enter the unit name.

Example: Kilogram.

Step 4: Unit Code

Enter the short code for the unit.

Example: KG.

Step 5: Conversion Factor

If conversion is required, enter the conversion factor.

Example: 1 KG = 1000 Gram.

Step 6: Save Unit

Review the entered details.

Click Add Unit to save.

After saving, the unit will be available while creating products and transactions.
