Use this guide to create a new sales invoice in Raad ERP.
Go to: Sales > Sales Invoice > Create InvoiceStep 1: Open Invoice Screen
From the left-side navigation, click Sales.
Select Sales Invoice.
Click Create Invoice.
Step 2: Select Invoice Type
Choose the invoice type:
B2C or B2B.
You can also use shortcuts:
F2 for B2C.
F1 for B2B.
Step 3: Invoice Details
For B2B invoices, Customer Name is mandatory.
For B2C invoices, Customer Name is optional.
Select the customer if required.
Step 4: Additional Fields (Optional)
If needed, enter details such as:
Transportation details,
Vehicle number,
Transport date and time,
Destination,
Remarks,
Notes.
You can also select the Rate Type here.
By default, the rate type is Retail.
You can change it to Wholesale if required.
Step 5: Add Line Items
In the line item section, select the product.
Press Enter to move to quantity.
Enter the required quantity.
Press Enter to move to price.
Enter or adjust the price.
Click here to view the previous price insights for the selected customer.
Tax percentage will be applied automatically based on product settings.
Click here to see the line profit .
Step 6: Exclusive or Inclusive Tax
By default, items are Exclusive.
Exclusive means tax is added on top of the unit price.
Inclusive means the unit price already includes tax.
You can switch between Exclusive and Inclusive at item level using the toggle below the item.
Step 7: Add More Items
Press Enter to add more products if required.
Step 8: Additional Charges (Optional)
If applicable, enter:
Shipping Charges,
Other Expenses,
Cash Discount.
For Round Off:
Enter a positive value to add.
Enter a minus value to reduce the amount.
Step 9: Payment Mode
Select the payment mode:
Cash,
Bank,
Credit.
Step 10: Post Invoice
Click Post to save the invoice.
You can also use shortcuts:
F3 for Posting
F4 for Save(draft)
Step 11: Print Option
After posting, a popup will appear.
If print is required, select the printer and click Print.
If not required, skip this step.
After posting, the invoice will be saved successfully and available in reports.
Step X:Import Option
Click Import on the Sales Invoice page (next to Search Invoice).
You can convert an existing Quotation, Sales Order, or Proforma Invoice into a Sales Invoice.
The selected document details will be added automatically.
