How to create a sales quotation

Use this guide to create a new sales quotation in Raad ERP.

Go to: Sales > Sales Quotation > Create Quotation

Step 1: Open Quotation Screen

From the left-side navigation, click Sales.

Select Sales Quotation.

Click Create Quotation.

Step 2: Select Customer

Select the customer for the quotation.

Step 3: Additional Fields (Optional)

If required, enter Remarks and Notes in the Additional Fields section.

Step 4: Add Products

In the line item section, select the product.

Press Enter to move to quantity.

Enter the required quantity.

Press Enter to move to price.

Enter the price.

If discount is applicable, enter the discount.

Tax percentage will appear automatically.

You can change the tax percentage if required.

Step 5: Exclusive or Inclusive Tax

By default, items are Exclusive.

You can change to Inclusive at item level, similar to Sales Invoice.

Step 6: Add or Remove Items

To add more products, press Enter and continue.

To edit or delete a product, click the checkbox next to the product.

Select Edit or Delete as required.

Step 7: Additional Charges (Optional)

If applicable, enter:

Shipping Charges,

Other Expenses,

Cash Discount.

Step 8: Post Quotation

Click Post to save the quotation.

You can also use the shortcut key to post.

Step 9: Convert to Invoice (Optional)

After posting, click Convert to Invoice to directly convert the quotation into a Sales Invoice.

Step 10: Print Option

After posting, choose whether to print.

Select the required print template:

Thermal or A4.

Click Print or Skip.

After posting, the quotation will be saved successfully and available for conversion and reports.
